| This breakwater snakes along a stretch of open ocean between Star and Cedar islands, joining the islands like firmly clasped hands. At least once a winter there is a storm that tries to break this hold and at times the breakwater is barely visible through the immense waves. This roll cloud brought with it a sudden wind shift and a reminder of the turbulent winter to come. |
